Pumpkin Picking

One of the best parts about fall is pumpkin picking! There are many local farms that offer this activity, and it's a great way to get outside and enjoy the cooler weather. Pumpkin picking is also a great opportunity to buy pumpkins for carving, baking, or decorating. One of our favorite places in Western MA is McCrays Farm.com.  They are located in South Hadley, MA and provide numerous seasonal activities.  To learn more you can follow their FB page.

Decorate for Halloween

Another fun activity for seniors is to decorate their homes for Halloween. This can be as simple or as elaborate as you want. You can put up spooky decorations, carve pumpkins, or even make your own Halloween costume! If you need some inspiration, check out Pinterest or your local craft store. You can visit stores like Home Goods in East Longmeadow, MA as well as The Christmas Tree Shop in Holyoke, MA and gather up some festive crafts.

Baking

One of the best things about fall is all of the delicious baked goods! From pumpkin bread to apple pies, there are so many recipes to choose from. Baking is a great activity to do with friends or family, and it's also a nice way to relax. If you're not sure where to start, we recommend checking out some easy recipes online.
