    There are 4 levels of hospice care services: routine home care, continuous home care, inpatient respite care, and general inpatient care. Routine home care is the most common type of hospice service, and it includes regular visits from a hospice nurse and aide, as well as 24/7 access to hospice services. Continuous home care is for patients with more complex needs, and it provides 24/7 access to hospice services. Inpatient respite care is for patients who need temporary relief from caregiver fatigue, and it provides short-term inpatient care. General inpatient care is for patients with complex needs that cannot be managed at home, and it provides 24/7 access to hospice services.

  • What are the eligibility requirements for hospice care?
